Technical architect is responsible for defining enterprise integration strategy and advanced architecture and solution/platform specific technical best practices. He or She will evaluate multiple third party solutions, author solution design document and lead team for integration implementation. Successful candidates will have a track record of architecting various integration solutions that were delivered on time, with high quality and designed for security, reliability, scalability and performance. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Business integration process definition and application design
- Manage technical scope and client expectations
- Create estimate and resource requirements
- Timeline and resource management for implementation
- Manage overall development, validation and deployment plans
- Primary point of contact for customer’s technical resources on the integration
- Subject matter expertise and technical guidance on best practices for integration with SaaS solutions such as Salesforce.com
- Technical Issues Management
- Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
Education Requirement: 4-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science.
Experience Requirement:
- 8-10+ years of experience including demonstrated on-the-job leadership of people and projects.
- Strong client facing consultative skills
- Key technology experience in areas such as J2EE, .NET, XML Web Services, SOA, Force.com platform
- Under SCRUM and Agile development methodologies
- Detail oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts and technologies
- Ability to organize and lead client sessions that involve non-technical resources, creating requirements and technical design.
- Ability to generate client signoff and commitment to the overall solution and design.
- Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP
- Experience with Enterprise Integration and ETL tools
- Excellent analysis and communication skills
- Willingness to travel (Approx. 50%)
